Installation
1. Choose the right sail size for your terrace
2. Choice of fixings
Depending on the space where you wishato extend your fabric, you will need different types of fixings. We offerwall fixingsas well aspoles. Here are two examples of configurations that will help you determine the types of fixings you will need.

3. Create a slope
When installing your sail, it is importantto create a25% slopebetween the different fixing points to allow for proper water drainage in case of rain.
For example, if a sail measures 3 meters on one side, you will need to create a slope of 75 cm (3 x 0.25).
The fabric of our shade sailsiswaterproof and water-repellent, so waterwill run off instead of seeping in and passing through. However, this is only valid if the 25% slope is respected and the tension is sufficient. Otherwise, a water pocket will form on the sail
4. Define the fixing points
To properly extend your shade sail, the fixing points must always be locatedalong the diagonals of the fabric. For triangles, tensioning is done along the medians.
5. Establish a tension margin
Allow a marginofat least 45 cmof tension distance between each corner of the sail and the fixing point.The goal is for the fixings to exert sufficient tension on the sail. Generally,the larger the sail, the greater the tension distance to be considered.
Once extended, the size of our shade sailsmay slightly vary from the given size due to the elasticity of the fabricand the tension applied to the sail.
